The ZE server is blocked in Russia.

I can't connect to server Zombie Escape (51.195.188.106:27015) from Russia. I know for sure that some European servers are blocked by Russian authorities. The exact same problem occurred last summer on another popular ZE server. Their administrators resolved the issue. Can you help me and provide an alternative IP address for connection? We need a proxy!

Hi, I am from Russia as well and I can play both on nide and here freely. Roskomnadzor banned all OVH servers, causing these issues. I am pretty sure fellas have a lot of free options to bypass that, be it Zapret VPN (idk if it will work for ZE), some guy who can manually put addresses of sites and maybe in-game servers as well, and me using AmneziaWG. Alternatively, you can try ExitLag since this VPN only applies on games.

For AmneziaWG (you have to download the app first), you need to get yourself a WARP config there: https://generator-warp-config.vercel.app (needs VPN to download the file, I use ones from chrome web store occasionally if you have no working VPN or its analogues for whatever reason) and then just insert the file and activate it. Might not work - generate another config file. Roskomnadzor is actively fighting against these as well, so yeah.

Try asking russian players you might know on how they play on nide/unloze.

Hi, Pelmen. Of course, I have a VPN. But it works selectively. It only works for certain programs, like my browser and OBS. I can't route all my internet traffic through the VPN, because then my IPTV won't work.

I usually play games and watch TV at the same time. My computer acts as a local IPTV server. A VPN would disrupt the video stream from my computer to the TV. So, unfortunately, that's not an option...

I tried adding the ZE server's IP address to the Zapret. Unfortunately, that doesn't work...

Download latest release of zapret 'fork' https://github.com/Flowseal/zapret-discord-youtube/releases
  • Unpack archive in any directory.
    • Run service.bat and set parameters as:
    • Game Filter > enabled;
    • IPSet Filter > loaded;
    • disable auto-update if needed;
    • choose '7. Update IPSet List' once to download list of subnets;
    • choose '10. Run Diagnostics' to check if any issues might occur.
    • You can also add unloze.com to lists/list-general.txt if there is an issue with opening the website.
    • Now run general.bat or general (ALT).bat and try to connect to the server. Depending on ISP you might need to try different .bat files to find the one that works for you.

This was suggested to me by a good friend from russia. i hope it can help you!

Alternatively, you can download the latest version of AmneziaWG https://github.com/vayulqq/amneziawg-windows-client/releases/tag/v1.0.3
Then generate AWG 1.5 config from here https://generator-warp-config.vercel.app
And then import your conf file into the app and activate it. There are 3 variants and you need to check each that will work (mine is 1st variant).

Make sure you don't have any other VPNs/wireguards on. AWG 1.5 should work much longer without need to switching to new configs in case if the previous one got compromised. It's not a VPN so some sites that bans Russia as a region won't work, but you will be able to play on our servers again!

P.S.: Hope you won't complain about this one cuz it works perfectly for all of my needs

Greetings, "A bunch of idiots with knives". Maybe use other vpn?
The VPN changes my IP address to a foreign one. But my IPTV is geoblocked: only for Russia. As soon as the IP address changes, IPTV stops immediately. That's the gist of it. :-)

But I was able to connect to the server using Jenz's method. Now I want to try the Pelmen`s method.

Thanks everyone for your help! Please don't close this discussion yet. I need to test the gameplay itself. Ping, freezes, etc. Thanks!
